You can check the battery level by the symbol displayed on the LCD monitor.

If you intend to use the LCD monitor for a long time or connect the camera to a PC, use of the AC adapter
zConnect the AC plug cord to the AC adapter.
xPlug the AC plug cord into the power outlet.
cOpen the terminal cover of your camera and connect the AC adapter to the DC input terminal.
When using the AC adapter, the battery level indicator is not displayed on the LCD monitor.
