•Wall Type I - Solid Wood Studs (2”x4”) 16” or 24” (406mm / 610mm) on center.
• Wall Type II - Solid Concrete (3000 psi) - requires minimum material thickness of 4” (102mm); if concrete is covered with a layer of drywall, plaster or similar material, maximum allowed thickness of covering is 5/8”(16mm).
If mounting to wall configurations other than those specified above, it is the responsibility of the installer to ensure that the wall structure and mounting fasteners used are capable of supporting four times the total weight of mounted equipment, (including mounting apparatus: Rail, Display Brackets and Fasteners). NOTE:
This Mount for Large Displays is designed for use on vertical (90°) surfaces only.
WARNING:
Ensure that the wall structure is
capable of supporting four times the total weight of mounted equipment.
Mounting to wall surfaces that do not meet this criteria may result in an unstable, unsafe condition which could lead to personal injury and/or property damage. Consult a construction professional if you have any doubt about what this means in regard to your particular application.
