If the sound does not playback normally when you are using a supported operating system, and the connections are correct as described above, check the following points.
For Windows XP
If the drivers were correctly installed, “USB Composite Device” appears under “Universal Serial Bus controllers” in “Device Manager”. Furthermore, “USB Audio Device” appears under “Sound, video and game controllers” in “Device Manager”.
If these do not appear, repeat steps to to install the drivers again.
<Click “Control Panel” and then “Sound and Audio Devices Properties”. Click the “Audio” tab. Check that “Default device” under “Sound playback” is “USB Audio DAC”.
For Windows Vista
Click “Control Panel” and then “Sound”. Click the “Playback” tab and check that “Speakers USB Audio DAC” is selected.

For better sound quality, select “16 bit, 44100 Hz (CD quality)” or “16 bit, 48000 Hz (DVD quality)”. When playing data recorded from a CD, “16 bit, 44100 Hz (CD quality)” is recommended.
