HOW TO USE
CAUTION: Turn off the switch ● and unplug the electrical cord before changing the pleated filter. Never operate the vacuum cleaner without the dust cup or the pleated filter.
Power Switch (FIG. 2)
Top position is OFF. Middle position, marked FLOOR, is for floor cleaning and cleaning with accessories (brushroll does not turn). Bottom position, marked CARPET, is for cleaning carpets (brushroll turns).
Locked Brushroll Indicator
The brushroll indicator ● will illuminate brightly when the brushroll motor has been locked up due to debris or some other excessive loading of the brushroll. Slide the power switch ● to the off position and check the brushroll area for obstructions. After clearing the brushroll area, start the vacuum and the brushroll will turn again.
CAUTION: Pulleys can be hot from normal use, to avoid burns do not touch pulleys.
Cord Retainer (FIG. 3)
When preparing to use vacuum, firmly push the electrical cord down into the cord retainer ●. This will place the electrical cord out of the way while you vacuum.
Handle Collapse Button (FIG. 3)
To collapse the handle from the upright position, press handle collapse button ●, rotate handle down.
Cord Storage Hooks (FIG. 3)
This unit has two convenient cord storage hooks ● attached to the handle. Wind the cord around the hooks and fasten the plug to the cord to prevent unwinding.

PRECAUCIÓN: Apague el interruptor de corriente ● y desenchufe el cordón eléctrico antes de cambiar el filtro plisado. No encienda la aspiradora si no ha colocado el recipiente para el polvo y el filtro plisado.
Interruptor de corriente (FIG. 2)
La posición OFF es la de arriba. La posición central, marcada FLOOR, es para limpieza de pisos y con accesorios (el cepillo giratorio no gira). La posición inferior, marcada CARPET, es para limpiar alfombras (el cepillo giratorio gira).
Indicador de cepillo trabado
El indicador de cepillo trabado ● se ilumina cuando el motor del mismo se ha trabado debido a alguna basura o cuando la carga sobre el cepillo es excesiva. Deslice el interruptor ● de corriente a la posición OFF (Apagado) y revise el área del cepillo para ver si hay alguna obstrucción. Después de limpiar el área del cepillo circular, encienda la aspiradora y el cepillo circular comenzará nuevamente a girar.
PRECAUCIÓN: Las poleas pueden calentarse durante el uso normal. Para evitar quemaduras, no las toque.
Dispositivo de ret ención del cordón (FIG. 3)
Cuando se prepare para usar la aspiradora, enganche el cordón eléctrico dentro del dispositivo de retención ●. Esto lo va a mantener fuera del camino mientras aspira.
Botón para doblar el mango
Para doblar el mango, presione el botón ● y haga girar la parte superior del mango hacia abajo.
Ganchos para enroscar el cordón (FIG. 3)
Esta unidad cuenta con dos ganchos unidos al mango, que sirven para enroscar el cordón ●. Enrosque el cordón alrededor de estos dos ganchos y ajuste el enchufe al cordón para que no se desenrosque.
