8.Weather Channel Legend: Shows channel and frequency information.
9.Band Switch: Allows you to select AM, FM, Weather, or Alert modes.
10.Volume Knob: Rotate to desired volume.
11.ON/OFF Switch: Slide On or OFF.
12.Power LED Indicator: Lights to show ON.
13.Battery Low LED Indicator: Lights to show that batteries need replacing.
14.Battery Door: Slide down to replace batteries.
Operation
TO LISTEN TO THE RADIO
The Band switch selects AM, FM, Weather or Alert:
AM: In this position, an AM radio station can be selected with the Tuning knob
FM: In this position, an FM radio station can be selected with the Tuning knob
WB: In this position, the local NOAA weath- er station can be selected with the Weather Band selector switch.
ALERT: In this position, the Weather Emergency warnings and watches can be received.
1.Turn the Volume knob to the desired volume.
2.Select AM or FM with the Band switch
3.Turn the Tuning knob to the desired station.
CAUTION!
You must select ALERT to receive the Weather Alert signals.
