Solving operating problems

Pressing POWER does not turn on washer

Is the power switched on at the wall?

Unplug from wall. Wait 60 seconds, plug back in, turn on and try again.

Could household power supply be at fault? Try plugging in another appliance.

Key Lock Mode may be activated. Try holding down the POWER button for 3 seconds. (Refer to page 34.)

Pressing START/PAUSE does not start the fill

Are both hot and cold faucets turned on?

Are the inlet hose filters blocked? Check the ends of the hoses.

FILLING continuously

Ensure drain hose is located in standpipe or set tub/sink.

Ensure standpipe or set tub/sink is at least 33 ½” (850 mm) high and no more than 96” (2438 mm) high.

NOT SPINNING properly

Ensure load is not out of balance.

Check washer is level and does not rock.

Ensure washer does not have suds buildup.

SPIN SPEED sounds slower than normal

Clothes are unevenly distributed in wash tub, your washer has slowed the spin to compensate.

WATER LEVEL low

Your washer is designed to automatically sense load size and minimize water use, therefore the water level may look different to your previous washer, this is normal.

WASH WATER temperature is not warm

This unique wash system uses two wash phases. The second phase can be cooler than the first to minimize energy use. This is normal and will not affect wash performance.

Too many SOAP SUDS

Ensure than you are using a High Efficiency (HE) detergent.

Try using a little less detergent, especially if garments are only lightly soiled.
