Observe that the 10 times attenuation of the Probe is compensated in the voltage readout.

Probe Adjustment.

The Probe of model VP40 such as supplied with the Test Tool is always adapted correctly to its inputs: high frequency adjustment is not necessary.

Other 10:1 Probes however must be adjusted for optimal High Frequency performance. How to adjust these Probes is explained in Chapter 2 under ‘Using and Adjusting 10:1 Scope Probes’.

Using a Printer

To print a (graphic) hard copy of the present screen, you need to use one of the following:

￿The Optically Isolated RS-232 Adapter/Cable (PM9080) to connect a serial printer to the OPTICAL PORT of the test tool. See Figure 1-22.

￿The Print Adapter Cable (PAC91, optional) to connect a parallel printer to the OPTICAL PORT of the test tool. See Figure 1-23.
