Connecting the Camera to High Definition (HD) TVs

When an HDMI cable (available from third-party suppliers) is connected, pictures and sound are played back on the TV.

1 Turn the camera off and connect an HDMI cable available from third party suppliers.

•Use an HDMI cable no more than 1.5 m (4.9 ft.) long.

•The USB cable can not be used while an HDMI cable is connected.

2 Tune the television to the video or HDMI input channel. See the documentation supplied with the television for details.

3 Press the abutton for about a second to turn the camera on. The camera monitor turns off and pictures and movies are played back on the TV. Note that the camera volume controls have no effect on sounds played on the TV; use the television volume controls to adjust the volume.

When connecting the cable, be sure the connectors are fully inserted.
