Using the Menus: Playback Mode

DPROTECTProtect pictures from accidental deletion.1Select DPROTECT in the playback menu.2 Highlight one of the following options and press MENU/OK:

•FRAME: Protect selected pictures. Press the selector left or right to view pictures and press MENU/OK to select or deselect. Press DISP/BACK when the operation is complete.

•SET ALL: Protect all pictures.•RESET ALL: Remove protection from all pic- tures.

Protected pictures will be deleted when the memory card or internal memory is formatted (P100).

GCROPCreate a cropped copy of the current picture.

1Display the desired picture.

2Select GCROP in the playback menu.

3Use the kand nbuttons to zoom the image in and out and use the selector to scroll the picture until the desired portion is displayed.

4Press MENU/OK to display a confirmation dialog.5Press MENU/OK again to save the cropped copy to a separate file.

Larger crops produce larger copies; all copies have an aspect ratio of 4 : 3. If the size of the final copy will be a, OK will be displayed in yellow.

bIntelligent Face Detection

If the picture was shot with Intelligent Face Detection (P53), gwill be displayed in the monitor. Press the f button to zoom in on the selected face.
