The Setup Menu

oSILENT MODE

[OFF]

Select ON to disable the speaker, flash, and AF- assist illuminator in situations in which camera sounds or lights may be unwelcome.

jFOCUS CHECK

[ON]

If ON is selected, the image will be magnified in the display to assist focus when the focus ring is rotated in manual focus mode (P48). The camera must be in manual focus mode.

bSOUND SET-UP

Adjust sound settings.

■OPERATION VOL.

Adjust the volume of the sounds produced when camera controls are operated. Choose eOFF (mute) to disable control sounds.

■SHUTTER VOLUME

Adjust the volume of the sounds produced when the shutter is released. Choose eOFF (mute) to disable the shutter sound.

■SHUTTER SOUND

Choose the sound made by the shutter.

■PLAYBACK VOLUME

Adjust the volume for movie playback.
