Shooting Mode

■aADVANCED FILTER

Take photos with fi lter effects. Choose from the following fi lters.

Filter	Description
GTOY CAMERA	Choose for a retro toy camera ef-
	fect.
HMINIATURE	The tops and bottoms of pictures
	are blurred for a diorama effect.
IPOP COLOR	Create high-contrast images with
	saturated colors.
JHIGH-KEY	Create bright, low-contrast im-
	ages.
	Create uniformly dark tones with
ZLOW-KEY	few areas of emphasized high-
	lights.
KDYNAMIC TONE	Dynamic tone expression is used
	for a fantasy effect.
SSOFT FOCUS	Create a look that is evenly soft
	throughout the whole image.

uPARTIAL COLOR (RED)

vPARTIAL COLOR (ORANGE) Areas of the image that are the wPARTIAL COLOR (YELLOW) selected color are recorded in that xPARTIAL COLOR (GREEN) color. All others areas of the image yPARTIAL COLOR (BLUE) are recorded in black-and-white.

Depending on the subject and camera settings, images may in some cases be grainy or vary in brightness and hue.

■iPRO FOCUS

The camera takes up to three shots each time the shutter button is pressed, softening the background to emphasize

the main subject. The amount

of softening can be adjusted before shooting by rotating the command dial. Use for portraits or photos of flowers similar to those produced by SLR cameras.

Softening can not be applied to background objects that are too close to the main subject. If a message stating that the camera can not create the effect is displayed when the camera focuses, try backing away from your subject and zooming in. The camera may also be unable to soften the background if the subject is moving; if prompted, check the results and try again.
