Viewing Pictures on TV

Connections

When an HDMI cable (available from third-party suppliers) is connected, pictures and sound are played back on the TV.

1Turn the camera off and connect an HDMI cable available from third party suppliers.

The USB cable cannot be used while an HDMI cable is connected.

2Tune the television to the HDMI input channel. See the documentation supplied with the television for details.

3Turn the camera on and press the abutton. The camera monitor turns off and pictures and mov- ies are played back on the TV. Note that the camera volume controls have no effect on sounds played on the TV; use the television volume controls to adjust the volume.

Image quality drops during movie playback.

When connecting the cable, be sure the connectors are fully inserted.
