If recording is stopped immediately after it begins,

1 second of the movie is recorded onto the Memory Card or internal memory.

CAUTION

Because a movie is recorded onto the Memory Card or internal memory as it is saved, it cannot be recorded correctly if the camera suddenly loses power (if the battery runs out, or the AC power adapter and DC coupler are disconnected).

A movie file taken by FinePix F100fd may not be playable on other cameras.

Because sound is recorded concurrently with the images, make sure that you do not cover the microphone with a finger, etc. (p.12).

Camera operation noises may be recorded during movie shooting.

The size of a movie file can be up to 2GB.
