Shooting Mode

Scene	Description
IMANUAL	Choose this mode for complete control of shooting settings.
EPICTURE	It reduces blurring caused by camera shake. Faster shutter speeds reduce blur caused by
STABILIZATION	subject movement also. Choose this mode when shooting fast moving subjects like chil-
(FinePix J210 only)	dren or animals.
M LANDSCAPE	Choose this mode for crisp, clear daylight shots of buildings and landscapes. The fl ash turns
	off automatically.
N SPORT	Choose this mode when photographing moving subjects. Priority is given to faster shutter
	speeds.
O NIGHT	Choose this mode for poorly lit twilight or night scenes. Sensitivity is automatically raised to
	reduce blur caused by camera shake.
HNIGHT (TRIPOD)	Choose this mode for slow shutter speeds when shooting at night. Use a tripod to prevent
	blur.
DNATURAL LIGHT	Capture natural light indoors, under low light, or where the fl ash can not be used. The fl ash
	turns off and sensitivity is raised to reduce blur.
S BEACH	Choose for crisp, clear shots that capture the brightness of sunlit beaches.
RSNOW	Choose for crisp, clear shots that capture the brightness of scenes dominated by shining
	white snow.
	Slow shutter speeds are used to capture the expanding burst of light from a fi rework. Press
P FIREWORKS	the selector left or right to choose from shutter speeds. Use of a tripod is recommended to
	prevent blur.
QSUNSET	Choose this mode to record the vivid colors in sunrises and sunsets.
V FLOWER	Choose for vivid close-ups of fl owers. The camera focuses in the macro range and the fl ash
	turns off automatically.
