1Notes: JTOP 12 / MFINAL 12 / ITOP 3 / LFINAL 3Focus and exposure are determined by the fi rst frame in each series.

• The number of pictures that can

STORING

be recorded depends on the

memory available. Additional

time may be required to record

pictures when shooting ends.

The pictures are displayed in the

monitor while recording is in progress.1Note: The Self-Timer

If the self-timer is used, only one picture will be taken when MFINAL 12, LFINAL 3, or NLONG PERIOD is selected.

CPHOTOMETRYChoose how the camera meters exposure when Intelligent Face Detection is off.

oMULTI: Automatic scene recognition is used to adjust exposure for a wide range of shooting conditions.

pSPOT: The camera meters lighting conditions at the center of the frame. Recommended when the background is much brighter or darker than the main subject. Can be used with focus lock (pg. 22) to meter off-center subjects.

qAVERAGE: Exposure is set to the average for the entire frame. Provides consistent exposure across multiple shots with the same lighting, and is particularly effective for landscapes and portraits of subjects dressed in black or white.
