Shooting Mode

Choose a shooting mode according to the scene or type of subject. To choose a shooting mode, rotate the mode dial to the desired setting (pg. 4). The following modes are available:

kAUTO

Choose for crisp, clear snapshots. This mode is recommended in most situations.

OEXR

To let the camera automatically optimize settings for your current subject, or to improve clarity, reduce

noise, or enhance dynamic range, rotate the mode dial to Oand follow the steps below:

1 Press MENU/OK to display the following menu.

AUTO

RESOLUTION PRIORITY

HIGH ISO & LOW NOISE

D-RANGE PRIORITY

Selects EXR mode and camera settings for each scene.

SET CANCEL

If the shooting menu is displayed, highlight APMODE and press MENU/OK.

2 Press the selector up or down to highlight one of the following options.

3 Press MENU/OK to select the highlighted option.

4 Press DISP/BACK to exit from the menu.
