Control the camera’s sensitivity to light. Higher values can be used to reduce blur when lighting is poor; note, however, that mottling may appear in pictures taken at high sensitivities. If AUTO is se- lected, the camera will adjust sensitivity automatically in response to shooting conditions.

In shooting modes other than B, sensitivity is set to AUTO; other values can not M

be selected. Settings other than AUTO are shown by an icon in the monitor. At

ISO 100

a setting of 3200 j, image sizes over jare set to j(pg. 59). Settings that have been altered from the value selected by the user are shown in yellow.
