Choose from 6 settings. Using the table below as a
guide, select the setting that best suits the aims.
_The numbers to the right of each setting show the number of
available frames.
_When changing the quality setting, the number of available
frames also changes (-P.26).
Quality mode 'Sample Uses
r_'_F(4048 x3040) Printing atA3 size. Forbetter imagequality, select "r_'_F".
r_'_N(4048 x3040) Printing at A3size.
_]_ (2848 x 2136) Printing at A4 size or printing partof the image cropped at A5 or A6 size.
(2016 x 1512) Printing at A4 orA5 size orprinting part of the image cropped at A6 size.
(1600 x1200) Printing atA5 orA6 size.

_] When setting CCD-RAW (_P.88), only the "200" and"400"
sensitivitysettings can be selected.
_tWhile selecting a higher sensitivity setting will allow you to
take pictures in darker locations, it will also increase the
amountof speckling in your images. Streakingmay also be
visiblein shotsof scenes such asthe night sky.
Choosethe sensitivity setting that best suits the conditions.
