2.4 Saving Scanned Images in PDF Format

HINT

If you save scanned images by this procedure, the file size may increase greatly. For reducing the file size, follow the procedure below. (It may take much more time than the usual saving procedure.)

1.Select [File] - [Print...].

2.On the following dialog specify [Adobe PDF] for [Name].

3.Click the [Properties] button.

4.Click the [Adobe PDF settings] tab.

5.Select one from [Default Settings].

The following shows an example of [Standard].

6.Click the [OK] button.

7.Enter a file name and click the [Save] button on the [Save PDF File As] dialogbox.
