4 Installing the Scanner Software

Installing Adobe Acrobat

The following describes how to install Adobe Acrobat using the "Adobe Acrobat DVD-ROM" provided with this scanner.

You do not have to install Adobe Acrobat if it is already installed on your computer.

1 Insert the Adobe Acrobat DVD-ROM into your DVD drive.

DThe DVD-ROM is recognized automatically, and the "Adobe® Acrobat® Installer for Fujitsu Scanners" appears.

If the setup dialog box does not appear, find "Install.exe" in the DVD-ROM using "Windows Explorer" or "Computer" and execute it directly.

2 Click the button for the language to be used for the installation.The "Adobe Acrobat 8.1.0 Standard - Setup" dialog box appears.3 Click the [Next] button.4 Install Adobe Acrobat, following the on-screen instructions.
