Chapter 7 Virtual MachineThis chapter describes the notes on the Virtual Machine and its settings.

7.1 For Windows®
7.1.1 Setting the Disk TimeOutValue
Check the value of the "TimeOutValue" registry key. If the "TimeOutValue" registry key does not
exist, it should be created.
Be sure to backup the registry before editing it.
Procedure
1Start the registry editor (regedit.exe).
2Follow the path described below:
3Check the value of the "TimeOutValue" registry key.
Check that the value of the "TimeOutValue" registry key is "0x3C". If set to a different
value, change it to "0x3C".
If the "TimeOutValue" key does not exist, add a registry key with the
following values:
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Disk
Name TimeOutValue
Type REG_DWORD
Radix Hexadecimal
Data 3C
