Keyboard/Mouse Features Submenu of the Advanced Menu

The Keyboard/Mouse Features submenu is for setting the parameters of the integrated and external mouse and keyboard.

	Numlock:		[Auto]		[On] or [Off]
	Numlock:		[Auto]		Numlock is On or Off.
	Hot Plug:		[Enabled]		Numlock is On or Off.
	Hot Plug:		[Enabled]		[On/Padlock Off]
	Internal Pointing Device:		[Auto Disabled]		[On/Padlock Off]
	Internal Pointing Device:		[Auto Disabled]		Numlock is On, but use
	Initialization on Resume:		[Fast]		Numlock is On, but use
	Initialization on Resume:		[Fast]		with [Fn] for 10-key
					with [Fn] for 10-key
					input.
					[Auto]
					Numlock is set to On/
					Padlock Off when PS/2
					keyboard is connected,
					otherwise Off.
					* Windows XP or later
					OS preserves Numlock
					state when the user
					logs off.

Menu Field	Options		Default	Description


Numlock:	■	Auto	[Auto]	Sets the NumLock function state when the computer completes
	■	On		booting.
	■	Off
	■	On/Padlock Off

Hot Plug:	■	Disabled	[Enabled]	Enables and disables the ability to plug a mouse or keyboard into
	■	Enabled		the port and have it immediately recognized and active.

Internal Pointing	■	Auto Disabled	[Auto Disabled]	Sets the device controlling the mouse cursor on the screen. Always
