Working positions:The hedge trimmer can be operated in 3 working positions.

For sideways cutting, the cutting unit can be rotated through 90°. The cutting unit can be turned to the right or left for
1.Remove the battery from the handle (see 3. Initial Operation).
2.Keep button 7 pressed.
3.Turn cutting unit 8 in the required direction 90° until the button 7 locks into place.
4.Push the battery onto the handle (see 3. Initial Operation).
A safety device prevents the Hedge Trimmer from starting up when the button 7 is pressed or not locked in 0° or 90° position.
DANGER ! Risk of physical injury!
AIf the Hedge Trimmer does not switch off auto - matically, there is a risk of lacerations.
V Never override the safety devices (e.g. by strapping down one of the start buttons).
Switching the Hedge Trimmer on:
The hedge trimmer is fitted with a
1.Push the battery onto the handle (see 3. Initial Operation).
2.Remove the protective cover 9 from the cutter blade 0
3.Hold the guide handle A with one hand and press the start button C.
4.Hold the main handle B with the other hand and press the start button D. The hedge trimmer will start.

1.Release the two start buttons C/ D.
2.Slide the protective cover 9 over the cutter blade 0.
3.Remove the battery from the handle (see 3. Initial Operation).
