TIP: Make sure the volume on the base is set loud enough to hear
incoming calls.
MESSAGE PLAYBACK FROM THE BASE
The new message indicator lets you know when you have new messages.
To play messages, press the play/stop button on the base.
While a message is playing, you may do the following:
Press the play/stop button to stop the message playback.
Press and release the cid/messages ( < ) button to restart the current
message; continue to press and release the cid/messages ( < ) button
to go to previous messages.
Press and release the cid/messages ( > ) button to go to the next message.
Press the delete/erase button to erase the current message.
MEMORY FULL
When the memory is full, the system answers after 10 rings. You should erase
some messages so the answering system may record new messages.
ERASING MESSAGES
You may erase messages three ways:
1. One message at a time by pressing the delete/erase button on the base
during message playback;
2. All previously played messages by pressing and holding the
delete/erase button on the base;
3. One message at a time by pressing the erase button (the 0 key) on the
handset or on a phone in a remote location.
To erase a message that is playing, press and release play/stop and then
press and release delete/erase on the base to erase the message.

MESSAGE # ERASED

shows in the display.
To erase all previously played messages:
1. Press and hold the delete/erase button on the base.
