NOTE: If the incoming number is a Direct Dial Number, it is supplied by your
local phone company, and you may not adjust its format. When you press the
format/answerer button on handset or the format button on the base, PRESS
TALK KEY displays. Press the TALK/callback button on handset or the
SPEAKER/callback button on base to dial the number.
3. If the number does not dial as shown, press the format/answerer button
on handset or the format button on the base. Repeat if necessary, until
the correct number of digits show in the display.
4. Press the TALK/callback button on the handset or SPEAKER/callback on
the base. The number dials automatically.
NOTE: If the CID record is corrupted, such as a number in a name field or an
alphabetical character in a number field, an error tone sounds from the
handset or base and the number cannot be dialed.
DELETING THE CURRENT CALLER ID RECORD
To delete only the record in the display:
1. Use the cid/messages ( < or > ) button (base) or CID/VOL ( < or > ) button
(cordless handset) to display the desired Caller ID record.
2. Press delete/erase button (base) or chan/delete button (handset). The
display shows

DELETE CALL ID?

for several seconds.
3. Press delete/erase button (base) or chan/delete button (handset) again to
erase the record. The display shows

DELETED

, confirming the deletion.
DELETING ALL CALLER ID RECORDS
To delete all the Caller ID records in memory:
1. Use the cid/messages ( < or > ) button (base) or CID/VOL ( < or > ) button
(cordless handset) to display any Caller ID record.
2. Press and hold delete/erase button (base) or chan/delete button
(handset). The display asks

DELETE ALL?

for several seconds.
3. Press delete/erase button (base) or chan/delete button (handset) again
to erase all records. The display shows
