Troubleshooting Tips

Filling the Dispenser

The rinse agent dispenser holds 3.5 oz. of rinse agent. Under normal conditions, this will last approximately one month. Refill when rinse agent is not visible in the indicator. Do not overfill.

1Make sure the dishwasher door is fully open.

2Turn the dispenser cap to the left and lift it out.

3Add rinse agent until the indicator window looks full. Do not overfill.

4Clean up any spilled rinse agent with a damp cloth to prevent foam.

5Replace the dispenser cap.

Rinse Aid Setting

The amount of rinse agent released into the final wash can be adjusted. The factory setting is at the midpoint. If there are rings of calcium (hard water) spots on dishes, try a higher setting. If you observe foam in the final rinse, try a lower setting.

To adjust the setting

Remove the dispenser cap, then turn the adjustable setting dial counterclockwise to increase the amount of rinse agent or clockwise to reduce the amount of rinse agent dispensed.

GLDA696, GLDA690 specifications

The GE GLDA690 and GLDA696 are advanced gas detection systems designed for industrial and commercial applications. These models prioritize safety and efficiency, making them essential tools for facilities that manage flammable and toxic gases.

One of the standout features of the GLDA690 and GLDA696 is their robust sensor technology. They utilize advanced electrochemical sensors that provide reliable detection of hazardous gases at ultra-low concentrations. This is crucial in industries where even minute traces of gas can pose significant risks. The sensors are designed for long-term stability and can tolerate a range of environmental conditions, enhancing their reliability in various settings.

Both models come equipped with a user-friendly interface that simplifies the monitoring process. The digital display provides real-time readings and alerts, ensuring that operators can respond promptly to any gas leaks. Customizable alarm settings further enhance safety by allowing users to set specific thresholds for different gases based on their operational requirements.

Another notable characteristic is the GLDA690 and GLDA696's connectivity options. They support integration with existing safety systems, allowing for seamless communication with central control systems. This feature enables remote monitoring and reporting, providing operators with a comprehensive overview of the facility's safety status at any given moment.

The systems are designed with a focus on durability and resilience. Their housing is made from high-quality materials that protect against dust, moisture, and corrosive substances, ensuring that the devices can withstand the rigors of industrial environments. Maintenance is made straightforward, too, with modular components that facilitate easy repairs and replacements.

The GLDA690 and GLDA696 also emphasize low power consumption, making them energy-efficient choices for continuous operation. This characteristic not only reduces operational costs but also minimizes the environmental impact, aligning with modern sustainability goals.

In summary, the GE GLDA690 and GLDA696 gas detection systems embody cutting-edge technology, bringing together reliability, user-friendliness, and connectivity. Whether used in chemical plants, oil refineries, or pharmaceutical facilities, these systems provide critical protection against the dangers posed by hazardous gases, ensuring safer work environments for all.
