To remove the charcoal

filter, disconnect power at the main fi_se or circuit

l)reaker panel or pull the plug.

To install a new filter,

remoxe plastic and other

outer wrapping fi'om the new filter.

The charcoal filter

should be replaced when

it is noticeably dirty or

discolored (usually alter

(3-12 months, depending on hood usage).

Remove the top grille by

removing the 2 screws that

hold it in place. Slide the

filter towards the fiont of

the oven and remove it.

Insert the filter into the

top opening of the (wen as shown. It will rest at an angle on 2 side supi)ort tal)s and in fiont of the right rear tab. P,ei)lace
