0. A~ethere any particulartrivets
that work betterthan others?
A. Yes, flat glass trivets such as
lids or dish coversgive mom even
cooking resultsthan plastic trivets.
Also,ceramicridge-bottomedroast-
ingdishes work well. Plastic trivets
require meat to be turned over
more frequently because the grid
design and legs allow the bottom
of the meat to stay cooler as it
cooks,than glass trivets do.
CLIs it necessaryto always cover
foods during Auto Roast?
A. No, but aloose covering helps
preventspattering and hold mois-
ture in food,
CL Why was my roast not fully
cooked eventhough the tempera-
ture cm the readout was correct
and Auto Roastcompleted?
A. Whencooking with Auto Roast,
the temperature probe must be
insertedproperly asfully described
inthe Cookbook,After turningmeat
over or rotating, the probe should
be chocked to makesure it hasn’t
slipped or changedpmition.
Q. last time Iused Auto Roast
1removedthe roast from the oven
to turn it over. When Ireplaced
roast in ovenand reconnected the
meat probe, alower temperature
appeared.Why?
A, The oven and roast may have
cooled to below the temperature
when you r~moved it, or probe
mayhave beenrepositioned. Con-
tinue roasting and numbers will
sooncount upward again.
