Auto Roast uses the temperature probe to cook to the desired servingtemperature.UnlikeTempCook, whicl? uses a single power level, Auto Roast uses up to 3 power settings which automatically switch during roasting,thus providing eventender cooking resultswithout overcooking.

Just as in conventional roasting, only tender roasts ‘- should be Auto Roasteduntil specified internal tem- peratures are reached. Less tender roasts should

be microwavedby time, according to the Cookbook which comes with your oven. Completeinformation on preparing roasts for microwaving is in your Cookbook.

RoastsforAuto

Place tender beef roasts on trivet in microwave safe dish. Insert probe from front horizontally into center meaty area not touching boneor fat. Coverwith wax paper.

Poultry, pork or ham roasts need no trivet. Add %+cup water to roast dish, cover with plastic wrap. (For cooking bag method, see cook- book.) Insert probe into center meatyarea.

Place meat with probe in oven. in- sert cable end of probe firmly into receptacleon ovenwall.

HowtoAuto Beefto

Touch AUTO ROAST Pad, Readout flashes ‘Enter Code”. Touch number pad 2, Touch START.ReacJ- out shows AUTO.

At 80°, readout switches to show meat’s internal temperature. Turn roast over and restart oven by tou~hing START.

OverPImonitor~ internal temperature, automatically switching to lower power as meat’s temperature rises,This preventstoughening or overcooking.

After temperature is reached, oven switches to HOLDfor 1 hr., then shuts off. Hold prevents over- cooking while keeping meatwarm.
