with child’sback flat against
back of child restraint.
2. Place harness straps
over child’sshoulders, insert
the two buckle tongues into
the harness buckle on the
crotch strap. Make sure that
you hear each tongue click
into the buckle.

5.2 Securing YourChild in the Child Restraint

SERIOUS INJURYOR DEATH IN THE EVENT OF A
SHARPTURN, SUDDEN STOP OR CRASH.
In a crash, the child restraint provides NO protection
for your child unless the harness straps are properly
secured. Follow these instructions carefully to properly
secure your child.
•ADJUST THE HARNESS SYSTEM SNUGLYEVERY
TIME you place your child in the child restraint.
•Avoidbulky clothing.
