Use this procedure whenever starting the pressure washer to help insure that the unitis ready to operate and starting is done safely.

1.Check theoil level.

Pump: Add SAE20 or 30 weight non-detergentoil as necessary.

2.Tum on the water supply.

CAUTION

Never run the unit dry. Costly damage to the pump will result. Always be sure the water supply is completely tumed on before operating.

3.Trigger the gun until water sprays tom the tip indicatingthat the airis purgedtom the system.

4.Start the unit.

5.ALWAYS engage the gun’s trigger safety latch whenever you stop spraying, even aformoment to reduce the riskof fluid injectionor splashing in the eyes or onthe skinifthe gunis bumpedor triggered accidentally.

6.ALWAYS observe thefollowingCAUTIONSto avoid costly damageto the pressure washer.

CAUTION

DO NOT allow the pressure washerto idle for more than10 minutes. Doingso may cause the recirculating water to overheat and seriously damage the pumpTurn. off the pressure washer if itwill not be sprayingor cleaningat least every 10minutes. If heated inlet wateris used, reduce this time further.

DO NOT run the pump dry, whichwill quickly damage the pump. Be sure the water supplyis fully tumed on before starting the pump.

DO NOT pump caustic materials: such materials may corrode the pump components.
