Assembly

When assembling the stand for this drum sander, it is important that each part of the stand is ori- ented and attached in a specific way. Refer to the illustration in Figure 6 below to gain a clear under- standing of the layout for each leg and brace.

Note: The parts illustrated are displayed "upside down", as they will be during the assembly steps.

To assemble the drum sander:

1.Position the top braces upside down on a protected surface in the form of a rectangle, then attach the legs to the braces with (16) M8-1.25 x 12 carriage bolts and M8-1.25 lock nuts, as shown in Figure 5. Hand tighten all fasteners for now. They will be fully tightened in Step 4.
