Clean and lubricate the chain sprockets as need- ed. The gearbox oil should be checked before the first use. It is full when oil begins dribbling out of the fill hole. Oil should be replaced yearly. Use

The lead screws and columns should be wiped of any grease and dust build up once a week. They should be relubricated with light machine oil. See
Figure 42.
