Use this product only as described in this manual.

Operate this product on 120 V AC, 60 HZ only.

Do not operate without cover in place.

Do not defeat the interlock switch.

Do not operate with an extension cord.

To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this equipment has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact qualified personnel to install the proper outlet. DO NOT alter the plug in anyway.

Do not operate this product if there is any physical damage to the unit.

This product is for indoor use only.

Do not operate this product in any area where there is a risk of the unit fall- ing into or being exposed to water.

Opening windows or doors while operating this device may affect performance.

This device should not be used in the presence of oxygen or any flammable materials or gases.

Purified air is released into the room.

UV-C light kills or inactivates airborne bacteria.

Fan draws in air.

*It is recommended to run the GG1000 continuously. Opening doors and/or windows in the room may affect the performance of the device.

To reduce the risk of injury:

Always unplug the unit before servicing.

Close supervision is necessary when operated by children and pets.

Do not handle the unit or plug with wet hands.

Keep the product away from heated surfaces.

Do not put any object into the openings or block the airflow to the unit.

WHEN TO CHANGE THE BULB

A replaceable 3.5 watt UV-C light bulb will last over 5000 hours. Over time with use the UV-C bulb will lose some intensity - approximately 15% at 4000 hours. Therefore it is suggested to replace the UV-C light bulb approximately every

6 months depending on use. You will know to change the bulb when the light flickers continuously or changes color.Replacement bulb no. LB1000.

When the Germ Guardian Pluggable is turned on you will see a ring of blue light that lets you know it is working. Processes 456 cubic feet of air per hour.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

1.Plug the unit into a 120V AC electrical outlet.

2.For best results continuous operation is recommended.

NOTE: THE GERM GUARDIAN PLUGGABLE UNIT CONTAINS NO SERVICEABLE PARTS EXCEPT ITS UV-C BULB. THE BULB MAY BE REMOVED FOR REPLACEMENT.
