Freezer Compartment
Long-term storage of food
As the freezer storage temperature is very low, fresh
food can be stored in the freezer compartment for a
long time. Food requiring long-term storage can be
stored in the frozen food compartment. Attention
should be paid to the storage information printed
on the food packing.
Making ice cubes
* Pour water into the ice cube tray up to three-
quarters of the mould volume, and then place the
tray in the freezer compartment. (Do not pour
excessive water over the water level mark, or ice
cubes are not easily removed)
* Tilt a bit the front side of ice cube tray when
removing it from the refrigerator.
* Turn clockwise the knob on front side of ice maker
and then the ice cubes will drop into the ice cube
tray underneath.
Caution: Frozen food (ice cream) should be stored close to the back
wall in the freezer compartment, as the temperature in vicinity with the
door is likely change, resulting defrosting of the food.
Adjustment of food shelf
Food shelf in the freezer compartment can be
adjusted between two positions as follows:
Step 1: Tilt the shelf by holding the left side (Figure
A)
Step 2: Move the shelf to the left side until the inside
edge in the slot and the right side is released from
the support hole (Figure A)
Step 3: Tilt the shelf by holding the right side ensuring
that the left side is released from the support hole.
(Figure B)
Step 4: Take out the food shelf (Figure B). When
installing the shelf, place the shelf with the left side
to the support hole, and then push slightly the shelf
upward and inward with the right side into the support
hole. Make sure that the shelf is level and make
adjustment it if necessary.
Super freezing
Select the super freezing function before putting
fresh food in the frozen food compartment (Refer to
