Drilling a Hole
1.Stand with a solid stance on stable ground. Brace yourself and maintain

5.Release the Speed Control (10b) as soon as the drilling is completed, allowing the Engine to idle. NOTE: Running the Auger Drill at full throttle without a drilling load can cause unnecessary wear or damage to the Auger Drill. (See Figure E.)
6.After running the Auger Drill for an extended period of time, allow the Engine to idle for several minutes to dissipate the heat. This will prevent some Engine parts (ignition system, piston rings, carburetor, etc.) from being damaged by overheating. Then press the Kill Switch (5b) to turn off the Engine. (See Figure E.)
7.Before storing the Auger Drill, make sure to drain all fuel out of the tool’s Fuel Tank (89). If this is not followed, old fuel in the Fuel Tank may clog the Carburetor and prevent the tool from starting until cleaned out. Then store the tool in a clean, dry, safe location out of reach of children and other unauthorized people.
