A.9 - Factory Reset

Factory Reset Information

In the event that a reset is required, the DriveRack 4800/4820 offers you the option of performing a “Hard” or “Soft” Factory Reset.

Power-Up Button Functions

All Power-Up Functions will use the MUTE 1 through MUTE 8 buttons. All Power-Up Functions require a button(s) to be pressed and held as the unit power is turned on.

A. “Hard” Factory Reset

Press and Hold the <MUTE 2> button at power-up until the following message appears: “! HARD RESET?”

“Yes <MUTE 7>” “No <MUTE 8>”

Pressing the <MUTE 7> button will perform a System Reset, resetting all device Presets and Attributes. Pressing <MUTE 8> will abort the Factory Reset sequence and the unit will reset normally.

B. “Soft” Factory Reset

Press and Hold the <MUTE 3> button at power-up until the following message appears: “! SOFT RESET?”

“Yes <MUTE 7>” “No <MUTE 8>”

Pressing the <MUTE 7> button will start a System Reset, resetting the device Attributes but maintaining the User Presets.

Pressing the <MUTE 8> button will abort the System Reset sequence and the unit will reset normally.
