3.0 Preoperational Procedures

3.1Chain

3.1.1  Verify that the load chain is not twisted or tangled prior to operating the hoist.

Make sure the bottom hook on the 3 (CB030) through the 20 (CB200) Ton multiple fall hoists is not capsized. See Figures 3-1 and 3-2. Correct all chain irregularities before conducting the first hoist operation.
