Motor fails to start. | Mains supply socket dead. | Test socket by plugging in anoth- |

| Cutterblade obstructed. | Disconnect from the mains and |

| remove any obstructions. |
Motor will not stop. | Faulty switch control unit. | Ensure switch lever has returned |
