Setting disc parental controls
Some discs are specified as not suitable for children.
Such discs can be limited not to playback with the unit.
To set parental controls:
1Press TV/BD to select Blu-ray mode.
2Press C or D to select “Settings”, then press A or ENTER.
3Press C or D to select “Parental”, then press A or ENTER.
“Please Input 4-Digit Parental Password:” screen will appear
when “Parental Control” is set to “On”. Enter the password
using Number buttons (0 - 9).

You can select:
1[Kid Safe]—Suitable for all children.
2[G]—General audiences.
3[PG]—Parental guidance suggested.
4[PG-13]—Not suitable for anyone under 13.
5[PG-R]—Parental guidance recommended.
6[R]—Not suitable for anyone under 17 unless supervised
by a parent or adult guardian.
7[NC-17]—Not suitable for anyone under 17.
8[Adult]—All BDs or DVDs can be played.

2Enter the new password using Number buttons (0 - 9), then
press D to select “Ok”.
3Press ENTER to save your password and return to the
previous menu level.
NOTE:
If you forget your password it can be reset. With no disc in the
player and in Blu-ray mode, press STOP on the unit. Continue
holding the button and press 7 on the remote at the same time.
“Release Parental Lock Completed!” appears on screen. Now
the password has been returned to the initial value (0000).
