MANTENIMIENTO

MONTAJE DE LA PROTECCIÓN SAFE- T-TIP DE LA PUNTA

Vea las figuras 48 y 49.

nDesconecte la motosierra del suministro de corriente.

nMonte la protección SAFE-T-TIP en la punta de la barra.

nAcomode el remache (u orejeta) de inmovilización en el orificio en hueco de la barra guía.

nApriete el tornillo con la llave hasta dejarlo ajustado.

nDe donde quedó ajustado, con una llave apriételo 3/4 de vuelta más.

ADVERTENCIA:

Aunque la barra guía viene con una protección anticontragolpe SAFE-T-TIP ya montada, verifique el apriete del tornillo de montaje cada vez antes de usar la sierra para evitar posibles lesiones graves.

Para apretar el tornillo de montaje de la protección de la punta, siga las instrucciones explicadas a continuación. Estos son tornillos especiales endurecidos. Si no puede apretarse el tornillo, cambie tanto éste como la protección SAFE-T-TIP antes de utilizar la unidad.

NOTA: No sustituya el tornillo con uno ordinario. Al reemplazar piezas sólo utilice piezas de repuesto idénticas del fabricante.

Además de evitar el contacto de la cadena con objetos sólidos en la punta de la barra, la protección SAFE-T- TIP también ayuda a mantener la cadena alejada de superficies abrasivas, como la tierra. Manténgala en el lado derecho de la barra, entre la cadena y el suelo, durante el corte a nivel con el suelo.

El tornillo de montaje requiere una llave de tuercas de x 7,9 mm (5/16 pulg.) (o una llave ajustable) para lograr fuerza de torsión de 4 a 5 Nm (35 a 45 lb∙·pulg.)Puede. lograrse fuerza de torsión dentro de este intervalo mediante el siguiente método.

nApriete el tornillo con la llave hasta dejarlo ajustado.

nDe donde quedó ajustado, con una llave apriételo 3/4 de vuelta más.

nLimpie todo material extraño de la producto. Almacene la unidad en un espacio bien ventilado inaccesible a los niños. Evite que la unidad entre en contacto con agentes corrosivos como las sustancias químicas para el jardín y las sales para derretir el hielo.
