FUNCIONAMIENTO

nAl podar árboles es importante no realizar el corte final de una rama, junto a la rama o tronco de donde sale, sin haber recortado la primera para reducir el peso de la misma. De esta manera se evita desprender la corteza del miembro progenitor.

nPara el primer corte de tronzado, corte por abajo la rama 1/3 del diámetro de la misma.

nEl segundo corte de tronzado debe ser por arriba para cortar completamente la rama.

nAhora efectúe el corte final, liso y bien hecho, contra el miembro progenitor, de manera que se forme la corteza para sellar el corte.

ADVERTENCIA:

Si las ramas por podar están arriba de la altura los hombros, contrate a un experto para que efectúe la poda. Si corta más arriba de la altura de sus hombros, puede ocasionar un accidente que cause lesiones graves.

Una pértiga es cualquier tronco, rama, cepa enraizada o árbol joven que ha sido doblado por la presión de otro árbol o rama, de manera que azota si se corta o se elimina el elemento que lo detiene. Con la cepa enraizada de un árbol caído hay un gran peligro de que la misma vuelva súbitamente a la posición vertical durante el corte de tronzado para separar el tronco de la cepa. Tenga cuidado con las pértigas; son peligrosas.

ADVERTENCIA:

Las pértigas son peligrosas y podrían golpear al operador, obligándole a perder el control de la motosierra. Esto podría causarle lesiones mortales o serias al operador.
