Stopping the Engine
In normal use:
In an emergency:
Make sure that the AC circuit breaker is in the OFF position. The
generator may be hard to startif a load is connected.
Pull the choke rod to the CLOSE position.
Move the engine switch to the ON position.
Pull the starter grip lightly until resistance is felt, then pull briskly.
Move the engine switch to the OFF position.
Turn the AC circuit breakerto the OFF position.
Push the choke rod to the OPEN position as the engine warmsup.
Turn the fuel valve lever tothe ON position.
Turn the fuel valve lever tothe OFF position.

Do not allow the starter grip to snap back against the engine. Return it

gently to prevent damage to the starter.

To stop the engine in an emergency, move the engine switch to the
OFF position.
Make sure the Auto Throttle switch is in the OFF position, or more
time will be required for warmup.
IfyouwishtousetheAutoThrottle system,turn the Auto Throttle
switch to the AUTO position after the engine has warmed up for 2 or
3 minutes.
