SERVICING YOUR GENERATOR
FUSE
Specified fuse:
FUSE(15A)
FUSEHOLDER COVER
FUSE(1A)
COVER
SCREW
BATTERY
MAINTENANCE
COVER
In the event of fuse failure, locate the cause of failure and repair it
before you continue operation. If the fuse continues to fail, discontinue
generator use and consult an authorizedHonda generator dealer.
If the fuse is blown, the starter motor won’toperate.
Turn the engine switch OFF and remove the key before checking or
replacing the fuse.

Replace the fuse with a
fuseofthesametypeand
rating.
Remove the fuse holder cover
and pull the fuse out.
Never operate the generatorwithout the maintenance cover in place,
as poor engine and generator performancewill result.
Loosen the cover screw and
remove the battery
maintenance cover.
Never use a fuse with a
different rating from that
specified. Serious damage to
the electricalsystem or fire
may result.
Install the fuse holder cover and the battery maintenancecover in
the reverse orderof removal (see page ).
