Transporting Material

Transport material to “Unloading Point” with loader bucket as low as possible to prevent

spillage and maintain maximum

Tractor/Loader stability.

During transport the loader should not be in a position that will impair operator’s vision.

Safety:

Avoid any overheadwires or obstacleswhen loaderls raised, to avoid damage or possible deathby electrocution.

Aloadedbucketshouldbe transportedin a low position at slow ground speeds, especially if the ground is irregular.Make turns slowly and usethetractorbrakescautiously.A full bucket in the raisedposition alters the centerof grav- ity locationof the unit and increasesthe pos- sibility of mishaps.

Do not liftor carry personnel on a loader or attachment;a slip or fall could cause serious

injury.

Operateat slow groundspeeds,especiallyon irregulargroundto avoid tipping.

Unloading

As the tractor approaches the ‘Unloading Point”, raise the loader to the height required for clearance to “Dump” bucket.

Do not raise loader. higher than required for =dumping” Clearance.

As “Dumping” clearance height increases, the bucket position must be adjusted to maintain a level bucket to prevent excessive spillage of material from bucket.
