10. TRANSPORTING/STORAGE
When transporting or storing the power carrier, make sure the engine switch
is in the STOP position and the spark plug cap is disconnected to prevent
accidental engine start up.
l To avoid,severe burns or fire hazards, let the engine cool before
transporting the power carrier or storing it indoors.
l When transporting the power carrier, turn the fuel valve to the OFF
position, and keep the engine level to prevent fuel spillage. spilled
fuel or fuel vapor may ignite.
Before storing the unit for an extended period;
1. Be sure the storage area is free of excessive humidity and dust.
2. Drain the fuel . . .

certain conditions. Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks in the area.
3. To drain the gasoline from the carburetor, first set the fuel valve to ON,
loosen the drain knob and drain off the gasoline into a suitable container.
4. Replace the drain knob and set the fuel valve to the OFF position.

l Keep all sparks and open flames away when draining the fuel.
l Perform the operation in a well-ventilated location.
l Dispose of the drained fuel properly.
