5. Change the engine oil (see page 31 for details).
6. Clean the air cleaner (see page 33 for details).
7. Clean the power carrier and inspect all parts to make sure they are securely
tightened. Lubricate the points noted on page 42.
NOTE: If the carrier will be stored for more than three months, remove the
spark plug, pour one tablespoon of clean engine oil into the plug hole and
reinstall the spark plug securely.
8. Pull the starter grip until you feel slight resistance.

9. Place a cover over the power carrier or store it in a well-ventilated enclosed
location.
