EXCESSIVE

VIBRATION

1. Check mower deck
and blades.
2. Take mower to

dealer for reoair.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Grass and debris lodged
under mower deck.
Blades loose, bent,
damaged, or
unbalanced by
improper sharpening.
Mechanical damage,
such as a bent
crankshaft.

POOR CUT QUALITY

PERFORMANCE

1. Check that the
throttle lever is in
the FAST position.
2. Reduce forward
speed.
3. Check cutting height
adjustment levers.
4. Check mower deck
and blades.

CORRECTION

Tighten loose blade
bolts. Replace
damaged blades
(P. 52).
Take mower to Honda
lawn mower dealer, or
refer to shop manual.

POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTION

Engine speed is too Move throttle lever to

Mower is moving too Shift to slow speed
