MAINTENANCE & ADJUSTMENTS
Throttle Cable Adjustment
Throttle cable adjustment is
necessary if the throttle lever
does not operate the choke
properly.
You can inspect choke operation
by observing the movement of
the choke arm, which is located
on top of the carburetor.
1. Move the throttle lever to the
CHOKE position. The choke
arm should move
counterclockwise, until it
contacts the stop post on the
carburetor.
Push the choke arm with your
finger to verify that it has
moved as far as it will go.
2. Move the throttle lever to the
FAST position. The choke
arm should move clockwise,
until it contacts the stop post
on the carburetor.
