Draining the Fuel Tank and Carburetor
1. Remove the carburetor drain
bolt with a 10 mm wrench, and
drain the carburetor bowl fuel
into an approved container.

burned or seriously injured
when refueling.
l Stop engine and keep heat,
sparks, and flame away.
l Refuel only outdoors
2. Move the throttle to the FAST position. This will allow fuel in
the fuel tank to drain through the carburetor bowl.
3. Reinstall the drain bolt.
igine Oil 1. Change the engine oil (see page
40).
2. Remove the spark plug (see page
40). Pour a tablespoon (5 - 10 cc) of
clean engine oil into the cylinder.
Pull the starter rope several times to
distribute the oil in the cylinder. Reinstall the spark plug.
